Always read the care label for washing instructions (if available on the garment). Some items may require special care.
Cotton / Polycotton items
For all of our pure cotton and polycotton clothing and blankets, it is advised to
1) turn the clothing inside out before washing (if applicable),
2) machine-wash with a gentle cycle and cool water temperature, 30ºC or below works best,
3) wash using a mild detergent,
4) wash with similar colours,
5) avoid using bleach as this can damage the pattern and the material,
6) iron the garment inside out on a low heat setting.
Viscose, chiffon and other delicate items
If the item is delicate, please consider hand washing them. There's no need to use fabric softener because viscose is naturally soft. To maintain the fabric's texture and colour, wash delicate items in cold water. Always read the care label for washing instructions. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.
Printed Clothing
For all of our printed apparel, it is advised to
1) turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the print,
2) machine-wash with a gentle cycle and cooler water temperature, 30ºC or below works best,
3) wash using a mild detergent,
4) wash with similar colours to prevent dye transfer,
5) avoid using bleach or fabric softener as these can damage the print,
6) avoid tumble drying as the heat can damage the print,
7) iron the garment inside out on a low heat setting to avoid melting the print.
Embroidered Clothing
For all of our embroidered apparel and items, it is advised to
1) turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the embroidery,
2) for machine-wash, use a gentle cycle and cooler water temperature on the washing machine,
3) wash using a mild detergent,
4) avoid using bleach or fabric softener,
5) always hang dry,
6) avoid tumble drying as the heat can damage the embroidery,
7) iron inside out on a low heat setting to avoid damage.
